How Silver Stag Tech handles your personal information.

This notice explains how Silver Stag Tech ("we", "us", "our"), trading as Did It Work, collects and uses personal information when you use the Service. We are the responsible party (controller) for the personal information we collect about users of the Service.

Who we are

Information we collect

• Account data — name, email address, and login credentials.
• Organisation data — organisation name and team member details.
• Usage and telemetry — monitor and job configuration, ping and run events you send us, and logs of your activity in the Service.
• Technical data — IP address and device/browser information captured in server logs.
• Support messages — anything you send us when you contact support.

Payment card details are collected directly by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, who process them as a separate controller. We do not receive or store your card details.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

• To provide the Service (create and run your account, deliver monitoring and alerts) — performance of our contract with you.
• Security and fraud prevention — our legitimate interest in keeping the Service safe.
• Product improvement and support — our legitimate interest in improving and supporting the Service.
• Legal and tax compliance — to meet obligations that apply to us.
• Marketing, where we send it — with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Who we share it with

• Service providers / subprocessors — hosting and infrastructure providers that run the Service on our behalf.
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for sale of the Service, subscription management, payments, and tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers such as our accountants or legal advisers, where needed.
• Authorities, where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Where your information is stored

The Service is hosted on servers located in the European Union. As we operate from South Africa, your information is transferred to and processed in the EU. We rely on providers that offer an adequate level of protection and contractual safeguards for this transfer.

How long we keep it

We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active. When it is no longer needed — for example after you close your account — we delete or anonymise it, except where we must retain certain records to meet legal or tax obligations.

Cookies

We use a single essential session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies, so no cookie consent banner is required. The session cookie is necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled without signing out.

Your rights

Subject to South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to certain processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa). To exercise any of these rights, contact support@diw.run.

Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls that limit who can reach your data.

We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
